Script injection in the Debezium database connector before 2.3.0.Alpha1 allows remote attackers to read unauthorized data via crafted JDBC parameters. The MySQL connector copied driver-prefixed configuration into its JDBC settings without overriding dangerous options; the patch disables local-file loading and deserialization and removes query interceptors. Exploitation requires the ability to submit connector configuration and high-complexity conditions, while the documented consequence is limited to data confidentiality.
