Database query manipulation via unsanitized id parameter
Published Mar 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in bsitemp.php in SourceCodester Online Graduate Tracer System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The script passes the attacker-controlled id parameter to mysqli_query without neutralizing SQL syntax before constructing the query. Low-privileged authenticated access is sufficient, and successful injection exposes database data and operations available to the application account.
