Script execution via unverified vaccination identifier
Published Mar 11, 2023 · Updated Nov 22, 2024
Cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Vaccination System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script via txtvaccinationID. The verification.php endpoint fails to verify the attacker-controlled vaccination identifier before using it in web-page generation. No authentication is required, but user interaction is necessary; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied script in the affected user's browser context.
