Cache modification via missing nonce validation
Published Mar 10, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in RapidLoad AI 1.7.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify the plugin cache through a forged request. The uucss_update_rule handler processes state-changing cache-rule input without correctly validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an administrator to act on an attacker-controlled request while authenticated, and the documented consequence is limited to cache modification.
