CVE-2023-1343Network attack vector

Cache-rule modification via missing attach_rule nonce validation

Published Mar 10, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in RapidLoad AI 1.7.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify cache rules via a forged request. The attach_rule AJAX handler accepts a state-changing request without verifying the WordPress nonce that binds it to an intentional administrator action. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to submit the attacker's request, and the resulting change is limited to plugin cache rules.
