Redirect creation via missing nonce validation
Published Apr 3, 2023 · Updated Feb 14, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Inisev Redirection before 1.1.4 allows remote attackers to create redirects through an administrator's browser. The addRedirect function processes a redirect-creation POST request without verifying a nonce, so a forged request is accepted under the victim's authenticated session. Exploitation requires an administrator to interact with attacker-controlled content while logged in, and the bounded consequence is unauthorized modification of site redirect rules.
