Buffer overflow in HP Workpath on affected HP multifunction printers allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code over a network. HP has not published the affected Workpath component, the input that reaches it, or the unchecked buffer-copy operation. Exploitation requires a vulnerable printer to be running a Workpath solution; successful exploitation compromises the printer's confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
