Authenticated SQL injection via unneutralized id parameter
Published Mar 10, 2023 · Updated Mar 3, 2025
SQL injection in LmxCMS 1.41 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the AcquisiAction update request. The update function in AcquisiAction.class.php inserts the id parameter into an SQL statement without neutralizing database syntax, so a crafted updatexml expression is executed by the database. A valid low-privilege session is required; the public record does not identify which database objects or permissions are reachable.
