Script execution via date-filter error tooltips
Published Mar 10, 2023 · Updated Feb 28, 2025
Reflected XSS in Pimcore before 10.5.19 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through Application Logger date filters. From and To date/time fields use default ExtJS validation tooltips that insert invalid values as HTML; the patch replaces them with static error text. High-privilege access and user interaction are required, and successful exploitation runs script in an administrator browser context.
