Unauthenticated SQL injection via login username
Published Mar 9, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester File Tracker Manager System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute SQL through the login username field. The /file_manager/login.php POST handler uses the username value in an SQL statement without neutralizing quote-delimited SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required; the demonstrated payload changes query execution to delay the server response for 20 seconds.
