CVE-2023-1258Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated information disclosure via insufficient Web API authentication

Published Mar 31, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Information disclosure in ABB Flow-X firmware before 4.0.0 allows remote attackers to read usernames and device details via its Web API. Insufficient authentication lets unauthenticated Web API requests enumerate authorized users, audit-log usernames, firmware versions, and applications. Network access to the device is required; the disclosed data supports device fingerprinting and user impersonation attempts without altering control functions.
