Unauthenticated SQL execution via login username
Published Mar 7, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in login.php in Health Center Patient Record Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute SQL through username. The login handler interprets quote and expression syntax in the POST username as part of a database query, producing SQL errors and timed SLEEP execution. No account is required; crafted username input can change query execution and cause a database error or a controlled 20-second delay.
