CVE-2023-1200Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cookie disclosure via stored username script injection

Published Mar 6, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Stored cross-site scripting in Ehuacui BBS allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser via a crafted username. The registration flow stores the username without neutralizing HTML or script content, and the authenticated front end renders that value directly. An account with a crafted username must be registered and a user must view the rendered value; script execution can expose that user's cookie data.
