Out-of-bounds read in Linux kernel KSMBD allows remote authenticated users to crash the system or expose kernel memory via SMB CREATE. parse_lease_state traverses create_context records without validating their NameOffset and Next fields, allowing a malformed lease context to direct reads outside the object. Exploitation requires access to the KSMBD service and valid SMB privileges; consequences are bounded to a system crash or kernel-memory disclosure.
