Authenticated script execution via reflected itr_no input
Published Mar 2, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
XSS in SourceCodester Health Center Patient Record Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a user's browser. The admin/fecalysis_form.php endpoint inserts the GET itr_no value into its HTML response without neutralizing a closing quote and script markup. A valid PHP session and a victim who opens the crafted URL are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled JavaScript in the victim's application origin.
