Authenticated privilege escalation via Device-Gateway authorization bypass
Published Mar 27, 2023 · Updated Jan 16, 2025
Improper access control in Delta Electronics InfraSuite Device Master before 1.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges. The Device-Gateway service on TCP port 3100 grants access to resources normally restricted from the user's privilege level because it fails to enforce authorization. Network access and low-privileged credentials are required; successful exploitation raises privileges within the application.
