Authenticated SQL injection via fullname POST parameter
Published Feb 28, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Catering Reservation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute database queries. The add_message.php endpoint places the fullname POST value into a database statement without neutralizing quote-based SQL syntax, as error and SLEEP payloads demonstrate. A low-privileged web session is required, and successful exploitation supports database-query execution and time-based inference.
