Authenticated directory listing via unsanitized dir_path
Published Feb 26, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Relative path traversal in MuYuCMS 2.2 allows remote authenticated users to list server directories through /editor/index.php. The a=dir_list handler accepts a dir_path containing traversal sequences and enumerates the resulting path without confinement to the site root. A valid session cookie is required, and the demonstrated consequence is directory-name disclosure rather than file-content access.
