Denial of service in Filseclab Corporation Twister Antivirus 8.17 allows local users to interrupt Windows via filmfd.sys IOCTL 0x801120E4. The filmfd.sys handler fails to shut down or release a resource after processing crafted input for that IOCTL, although the exact resource is undisclosed. A low-privileged local account is required, and exploitation can interrupt the Windows host without reading or modifying data.
