Unauthenticated administration via undisclosed logic error
Published Jun 21, 2023 · Updated Dec 6, 2024
Incorrect authorization in Silicon Labs Z/IP Gateway 7.18.02 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass command authentication. The vendor identifies a logic error in command authentication but has not published the affected function, validation branch, or malformed input that triggers it. Adjacent-network access is required; successful exploitation permits Z-Wave controller administration and recovery of S0 and S2 encryption keys.
