CVE-2023-0969

Global-memory disclosure via manipulated array pointer

Published Jun 21, 2023 · Updated Dec 6, 2024

Out-of-bounds read in Silicon Labs Z/IP Gateway 7.18.01 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to disclose global memory. Attacker-controlled Z-Wave input manipulates an array pointer, causing the gateway to read beyond the intended buffer into global memory. Exploitation requires authenticated access within Z-Wave radio range, and the reported consequence is limited to memory disclosure.
