Database read and modification via unsanitized id parameter
Published Feb 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Music Gallery Site 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and modify database data through a public music-details request. The get_music_details action in classes/Master.php uses the GET id value in a music-list SQL query without parameter binding, allowing injected SQL clauses to execute. No account is required to access the public music workflow, and the resulting access is bounded by the application's database privileges.
