Cross-site WebSocket hijacking in Gitpod Classic before 2022.11.2 allows remote attackers to take over workspaces through a victim's browser. The server's /api/gitpod WebSocket endpoint accepts credentialed workspace-subdomain origins, then exposes authenticated JSON-RPC methods. Exploitation requires a signed-in victim to visit attacker-controlled workspace content, enabling data theft and SSH-key addition.
