Code execution via formula parameter underflow
Published May 25, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Array-index underflow in LibreOffice Calc 7.4 before 7.4.6 and 7.5 before 7.5.1 allows attackers to execute code. ScInterpreter removes formula parameters from a stack without first ensuring that malformed formulas such as AGGREGATE supplied the expected count. Exploitation requires a user to load a crafted spreadsheet, after which code can execute in the LibreOffice process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.4 <7.4.6
