CVE-2023-0945Network attack vector

Browser script execution via unneutralized category name

Published Feb 21, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Best POS Management System in PHP 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted category name. The add-category handler renders the Name parameter into an HTML context without neutralizing an injected img onerror event handler. An authenticated account must submit the value and a user must load the affected output, enabling script execution in that user's browser context.
