Deserialization of untrusted data in webMethods OneData 10.11 allows remote attackers to execute code through exposed Java RMI interfaces. Its embedded Zulu 11.0.15 runtime accepts a malicious serialized Java object as a method parameter and deserializes it without a trusted-data boundary. Network access to both the registry on TCP port 2099 and the dynamically assigned interface port is required, and resulting code runs as the OneData service account.
