Authenticated database disclosure via unsanitized user ID
Published Feb 19, 2023 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Auto Dealer Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The manage_user page incorporates the id query parameter into a database SELECT without neutralizing SQL syntax, permitting UNION-based queries. A staff account can directly request the administrator-only page because access control is not enforced, exposing database metadata and query-visible contents.
