Stored XSS in Steveas WP Live Chat Shoutbox 1.4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script in a victim's browser. A crafted Shoutbox_alias cookie is accepted when a message is sent and later output in the Shoutbox without sanitization or escaping. No authentication is required to plant the payload, but a high-privilege user such as an administrator must view the Shoutbox for execution.
