Hard-coded credentials in Lenovo Smart Clock Essential with Alexa Built-in before 90 allow remote attackers to gain full device control. Provisioning leaves the root password unchanged, enabling login to the device's SSH or telnet service with factory credentials. The attacker must reach the clock on the local network; successful access grants root-level control over device data and operation.
