Database information extraction via unprepared id query
Published Feb 17, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Time-based SQL injection in WP Coder 2.5.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract database information via the id parameter. The admin/partials/include-data.php path places the supplied id value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Administrative access to the WordPress dashboard is required; successful exploitation discloses database contents through response delays.
