Stored script execution via unescaped project email
Published Apr 10, 2023 · Updated Feb 11, 2025
Stored XSS in the Time Sheets WordPress plugin before 1.29.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a project email setting. The project over-hours email address setting is stored and later inserted into an administrative web page without output escaping. Administrator privileges are required to save the payload, and another user must view the affected page for the script to run in that user's browser context.
