CVE-2023-0889Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Subscriber-to-Administrator escalation via unchecked option writes

Published Apr 17, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025

Missing authorization in Themeflection Numbers before 2.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to modify arbitrary WordPress options. The tf_numb_save_licenses AJAX handler accepts attacker-chosen option names and values without a capability or plugin-option ownership check.
