Cross-account address disclosure and modification via unchecked IDs
Published Mar 20, 2023 · Updated Feb 26, 2025
IDOR in Vanquish WooCommerce Multiple Customer Addresses & Shipping before 21.7 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter other users' addresses. The wcmca_get_address_by_id, wcmca_delete_address, and wcmca_save_new_address AJAX actions trust supplied user and address identifiers without verifying ownership or a high-privilege role. Subscriber access is sufficient to read, add, update, duplicate, or delete address records belonging to another account.
