Configuration disclosure via plaintext BLE communication
Published May 17, 2023 · Updated Jan 22, 2025
Cleartext transmission in ABB Terra AC wallbox affected firmware allows physically proximate attackers to read configuration data over BLE. The BLE channel exchanges wallbox configuration data without encryption, exposing its contents to passive eavesdropping. Physically proximate attackers must remain within BLE range while a legitimate user configures or uses the device; the disclosed data can expose configuration settings.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
