Improper authentication in affected ABB Terra AC wallbox firmware allows physically proximate attackers to control chargers through BLE. The BLE authentication path accepts specially crafted messages as legitimate, enabling charger use and read or write access to stored configuration. Exploitation requires BLE proximity but no credentials or user interaction; maximum-current settings can be changed, although software-defined limits remain.
