User action manipulation via unrestricted framing
Published Feb 11, 2023 · Updated Mar 24, 2025
Clickjacking in Cockpit HQ Cockpit CMS before 2.3.9 allows remote attackers to induce unintended actions through a framed admin interface. The modules/App/admin.php response path omitted X-Frame-Options, so browsers could render the administration interface inside an attacker-controlled iframe. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to visit and interact with the framing page; resulting reads or changes are limited to actions available in that administrator's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
