CVE-2023-0771Public exploitNetwork attack vector

SQL injection via uncast search limit parameters

Published Feb 10, 2023 · Updated Mar 24, 2025

SQL injection in Ampache before 5.5.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL via crafted search limit values. Search.php and Stats.php concatenate uncast limit parameters directly into several SQL LIMIT clauses instead of restricting them to integers. The route requires a high-privilege Ampache account; successful injection permits database reads and writes and service interruption.
