Published Feb 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Authorization bypass in Wicked Plugins Wicked Folders 2.18.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter folder structure. The ajax_move_object AJAX handler accepts subscriber requests and moves WordPress objects without checking the administrative capability required for that action. Any logged-in subscriber can therefore reorganize plugin-maintained folders intended to be controlled by administrators.
