Authenticated SQL injection via crafted cart identifier
Published Feb 6, 2023 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Eyewear Shop 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through cart updates. The update_cart function in /oews/classes/Master.php accepts crafted cart_id data in an HTTP POST request without adequately neutralizing SQL syntax. A valid low-privilege session and a difficult-to-construct request are required; exploitation can read or modify database data and interrupt service.
