CVE-2023-0626Network attack vector

Code execution via message-box query parameters

Published Sep 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024

Code injection in Docker Desktop before 4.12.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via message-box route query parameters. The Electron client passes attacker-controlled query parameters from the message-box route into code execution without adequate validation. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and user interaction; successful attacks execute code with the client process privileges.
