Administrator-context script execution via reflected POST values
Published Jul 31, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Twittee Text Tweet 1.0.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The administrative page reflects the tweetTooltip and tweetContent POST values without proper escaping and accepts a request whose nonce is not properly validated. An administrator must be logged in and open an attacker-supplied HTML form; the script runs in the administrative browser context.
