Log misinterpretation via unneutralized malicious packets

Log injection in Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Geo SCADA Expert builds through October 2022 allows remote attackers to mislead recorded events. The server writes attacker-controlled packet content received on its database web port into logs without neutralizing characters that alter log interpretation. Unauthenticated network access to that port, which uses TCP 443 by default, is sufficient to corrupt the apparent meaning of recorded events without changing underlying process data.
