Template integrity bypass via unchecked language selection
Published Jan 29, 2023 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
Business logic error in Froxlor before 2.0.10 allows remote authenticated users to store templates under invalid languages via form data. The admin_templates.php prepare and send paths validate the language string syntactically but fail to require membership in the configured language list. Administrator access is required, and exploitation stores unsupported language identifiers with template content, compromising template-record integrity.
