Authentication bypass via injectable login username
Published Jan 28, 2023 · Updated Nov 25, 2024
SQL injection in the login component of Projectworlds Bank Locker Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication. The banker/index.php login handler passes the POST username value to an SQL query without neutralizing quote and comment syntax. Authentication is not required; a crafted username changes the query's truth condition and defeats intended credential checking.
