Stored XSS via unsanitized iframe srcdoc
Published Apr 10, 2023 · Updated Feb 11, 2025
Stored XSS in WPManageNinja Fluent Forms before 4.3.25 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in visitors' browsers. The Custom HTML field accepts an iframe srcdoc attribute without sanitizing or escaping its embedded document, so an encoded script is stored with the form and executed when the form is rendered. Contributor-level form-editing access is required; the payload runs for site visitors and for administrators who preview or edit the affected form.
