Database access via unparameterized to_date query
Published Jan 27, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Online Tours & Travels Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify database data. The admin/expense_report.php handler concatenates the POST to_date value into the expense date-range SQL query instead of binding it as a parameter. Administrator access is required, and resulting database access remains bounded by the application's database-account permissions.
