Stored XSS in GitLab before 15.8.5, 15.9.4, or 15.10.1 on affected branches lets remote authenticated users run JavaScript via a malicious email. GitLab has disclosed only that a crafted email address reaches an HTML-rendering context on certain instances; the exact view and missing neutralization operation are not public. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and another user to render the affected content, confining execution to that user's browser context.
