Heap corruption via WebRTC use-after-free
Published Jan 24, 2023 · Updated Oct 17, 2024
Use-after-free in Google Chrome's WebRTC before 109.0.5414.119 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory via crafted HTML. The WebRTC component accesses an object after its storage has been freed, letting crafted page activity operate on reclaimed heap memory. Exploitation requires a user to load attacker-controlled HTML; the public record does not disclose the affected class, function, or trigger sequence.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
