CVE-2023-0455Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via MIME-only upload validation

Published Jan 26, 2023 · Updated Mar 31, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in Unilogies Bumsys before 1.0.3-beta allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side code. The easyUpload routine validates a client-supplied MIME subtype instead of the filename extension, then preserves the attacker-controlled name when moving the upload. Low-privileged application access is required; requesting the uploaded PHP file runs commands with the web server's privileges.
