Authenticated cache deletion via missing capability check
Published Jan 23, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in My YouTube Channel 3.0.12.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to clear the plugin cache. The clear_all_cache function accepts a cache-clearing request without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the documented consequence is deletion of cached plugin data rather than broader site control.
